I make custom woodwork and need a light to play with when photographing an item to put it up for sale. each and have more options to light a series of photos. Although filters reduce light output, they diffuse the light very well, so I don't get any harsh reflections from my subjects. I also used this yesterday when soldering small electronics on my FPV drones, the extra light always makes soldering easier and I can get this light very close and aim it at work. The mines did not come with thicker tripod legs as pictured, just smaller, wire-like legs (also pictured). After initially setting it up, each stand tilted slightly to one side, my OCD couldn't handle it, but simply pressing down on the legs made it a little easier to set up.
