Review on SHIMANO Internal Hub Grease: High-Quality Lubrication for Smooth Cycling by James Eledge
It's weird, but it works.
Contrary to the picture, the container and lube itself are white and the lubes are MUCH larger than I thought. Based on how much the bike shop used to completely re-grease my 3 speed SG-3D55 hub, this tube will last me about 5 more years. some sort of lube, instead of the standard lube, it's incredibly non-viscous. It's thinner than toothpaste and very slippery. Makes sense given the number of gears and moving parts in the hub.
