This worked great for slightly stretching a plain ring that I only needed 1/2 size larger. came as .fat? oiled? Anyway, I wiped everything down and used gardening gloves to hold it. I feel like the size marking itself is a bit off, so maybe make sure to use a normal lower jaw for the measurement. I was just paying attention to what was said about sizing and went up 1/2 from there. Personally, I wouldn't want to attempt to stretch a ring more than 1 size. I tried a ring that wasn't sold, meaning it was a little looser and broke 3/4 sizes. So stick to solid metal and no embellishments - the latter is clearly stated on the packaging. If you try to stretch a ring with stones, you will most likely just push out or break the stones. So don't do it.
