Review on 🐠 GloFish Cycle LED Light by Emily Smith

We purchased this lighting kit to use in our 40 gallon axolotl tank. It literally stood out from every other light we could find as it has true black light in the UV part of the spectrum, while most "incandescent" lights only have blue light that only causes certain shades to fluoresce. In action, we found that the black light mode itself wasn't bright enough to make a large tank glow, BUT we used the fade mode (which toggles between blue and black lights) much more than expected. The black light lets our Axolotl shine brightly and the blue light provides cool effects with its glowing decoration. The intermediate decay is more natural and less harsh on our dark loving beings. Daylight mode combines all the light sources that make our aquatic life happy during the day. My only real issue with this product is that we found it very difficult to attach the clips to the edge of our tank and I wish the wire segment between the headlights and the knob was longer as we would need to adjust the position of the headlights, if we didn't want to, so the button is in the tank, under the hood. Otherwise it's great!
