I connected this cable between my MacBook Pro and my 47" 3D HDTV. The picture looks good and there is no noticeable loss. I see that some people had some problems with the cable. Technical repair at a computer shop, I can tell you what the problem is as i have always run into a problem the problem is almost always with the contacts in the cable they can come loose, bend or just be missing/broken, if the pins are bent they can sometimes get bent back and the cable works fine but they can easily break that some cables come out from the company that may have some problems but in general most of their cables seem ok getting 2 bad cables in a row is quite low and you really can't price it at all If you have two bad cables, then they are probably two good cables, and I would e start looking at your system. Another potential problem with your video cable could be your graphics card. When connecting a cable to a graphics card, you sometimes lift and drop the graphics card. This is very common and happens all the time because not everyone tweaks their graphics card. In addition, the connector on the graphics card may have become loose. But then again, the cable works well for me, it's freaking long and a great price. The cable is a bit stiff, but hey, it's 50 feet long and works fine so I can't complain.
