I received this camera as a Christmas present. The above ground shots turned out to be good. It has no zoom (digital or optical). The flash was sufficient. The macro mode worked well. I was on vacation and thought it would be great to use it while snorkeling. I put new batteries in, made sure the battery compartment was properly closed, checked, and then got on the boat. climbed into the water and acclimatized, then tried to use the camera. I noticed a few air bubbles coming out of the camera body and the camera would not turn on. Then I saw water on the LCD. When I got out after about 45 minutes, I rinsed the camera with fresh water, dried it with a towel and opened the battery cover. IT WAS FULL OF WATER!. The batteries were very hot and already leaking. This camera is useless underwater! Better buy an Olympus. I'll try to replace it, although I doubt I can.
