Highly recommend EasyBoots! Scout, our 35 year old Shetland Pony suffered from severe arthritis in his knees and ankles. In the morning the poor fellow could hardly walk. The pain was also beginning to affect his sleep patterns. My boy looked so miserable and sad. After some homemade hoof pads failed, I found the EasyBoot Cloud Booties. You changed the world! Combined with anti-inflammatory drugs, Scout is happy and feeling better. He walks calmly and even takes a few steps at a trot when I call him to eat. He now stands upright, no longer stumbles when walking, can lean more comfortably and wakes up less stiff. He gnaws my bag for treats again and goes up the hill to graze with the herd. Yes the boots are expensive but worth every penny! They are well made from high quality materials and appear to be very durable. Scout has been wearing them for 3 days with no damage. The collar around the ankle is soft and flexible, while the Velcro strap keeps the boots securely in place. Thick, shock-absorbing pads inside the boot hold their shape and won't wrinkle. Most importantly, the buckle-free design makes it easy to put on and take off the boots, which is essential for horses with joint and hoof pain. It took about 10 seconds for one hoof. As for sizes, carefully measure your horse's hoof (height and width) and follow the measurement instructions. The Scout is a size 1.
