Does not fit in 2 post color buck scrapbook

I was delighted to order these for a scrapbook I made for my daughter. When I received them they were well packaged and good quality (not flimsy) but they WILL NOT fit in my 2 post scrapbook (I have colorbok scrapbooks). In the Colorbok scrapbook, the distance between the two columns is exactly 8 inches. These photo sleeves have a hole spacing of 8 1/2 inches.
