I LOVE this watch. I will say this because the numbers are on plastic cards, they should be kept out of children's reach. We have no children at home so there is no problem in my house. This is the second one I've ordered. After 3 years, the plastic notch on half of one of the "59" cards broke off, but the watch continued to show accurate time. However, my OCD couldn't handle it, so I replaced it. It makes noise, as others have pointed out, but it's very quiet (the loudest noise is when the clock is changed - for example from 2:59 to 3:00). It's also very funny, I've had people come into my house and have no idea what they are looking at because everyone is used to analog, digital or mobile watches - they have no idea what it is. If I have to explain something, they love it!
