I used them to replace the standard sized red rectangular reflectors (the shape and attachment of which match perfectly) on a set of motorcycle hard bags . They take on the function of running lights and indicators. They work great and have the perfect light intensity. The wires are fairly light but have withstood soldering and a season of vibration (as have the lights). It's several thousand miles of roads, some of it on rougher roads. I'm impressed enough to order the amber version so I have internationally compatible turn signals and position lights (other countries don't allow red turn signals).
