I wanted something that would allow me to have my hands free while listening to music through headphones or a headset connected to my cellphone that I could easily slide in and out of the holster with a case on my phone. It fits the bill! I can put my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone with a thin case in this holster. Then I insert the headphone plug into the hole in the corner of the holster. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the hole for the case isn't as well cut as the hole for the headphone jack on my phone. The hole for the holster is in the corner, but the hole for the phone is slightly larger inward. I had to maneuver a bit to plug it in, but it works. Note that a larger case (e.g. OtterBox style) will not fit in this holster unless you remove it from your phone first.
