Ergonomic, but shifts the pressure point towards the wrist.

This was my first time using an ergonomic mouse and I had some expectations as to how it would solve a problem I usually have with mice. While it removes pressure points from the center of the wrist, the tilt moves that point toward the bone on the side of the wrist. This is easily treated with a soft mouse pad. So why use it when you still need a soft spot for your wrist? User friendliness! The mouse has variable sensitivity, which for us power users is comfortable and high (move the mouse a little and you can cover the entire screen), or lower the sensitivity for very subtle and slow cursor movements. The two side buttons work great as forward and back buttons. I became a heavy user of the back button. Eliminates the need to move the mouse over an icon on the screen to go back. The Bluetooth connection works about 90% of the time. If you go away for a while or don't move the mouse for a while, it goes to sleep. To do this, you have to press a button to make it wake up again. In my Linux environment, this results in wasting several seconds of movement and key presses for Linux to recognize that the mouse is in-game. With a 2.5GHz USB dongle, you don't have to wait for anything to activate. It just works. Minus: eats up another port on a computer. If you have limited ports but also have Bluetooth, it's best to leave it on Bluetooth. Overall, I liked the speed and button options. I work very well for what I do. It takes a little getting used to, but you'll be a pro in no time.
