Basically, it looks like a big, weird, flat sheet. It is exactly the same material as a flat sheet. There's nothing special or pleasant about it other than the color, which I love. It has no thickness or padding. It doesn't look very nice on my blanket either, as it just lies very flat on it. I tried it on a smooth but thick and soft duvet and also on a soft duvet divided into solid squares. It just doesn't work well with any of them. I can just use it as a flat sheet so it doesn't get totally wasted. i love the color
