I have to say they were a bit stiff when I first got them but gosh I'm glad I did. After a couple of weeks of driving, they parted very comfortably. Yesterday I crashed at about 80mph while dodging several cars that had just crashed into each other from behind. I was thrown across the freeway and I estimated I slid about 30 to 50 feet. I was very fortunate that I didn't get injured except for a rash on my left arm and both knees. These gloves MOST of the time saved my butt, they absorbed 100 percent of the slip and I didn't even get a scratch on one of my hands. Wreck I thought I should share my feedback as I am eternally grateful that they worked the way they did. I will definitely buy them again when I fix my bike. If I didn't wear them, I highly doubt I'd be able to print. Please drive carefully and learn from my mistakes. Don't run yellow lights, avoid other drivers, and most importantly, wear GOOD EQUIPMENT.
