These chairs look very nice and cute and I like that they are light. However, they just aren't practical or durable. Assembly was easy, so it's a pro. Again they look great. They are quite comfortable for an adult to sit on and another good thing is that they are very easy to clean with just a quick wipe. However, the chairs are very unstable and unbalanced. We have kids aged 5 and 6 who accidentally knock over their chair literally 3-4 times a week. If you have a child, you know that it is almost impossible for him to sit in a chair for a long time. They lean to the side, reach down to pick up what they have dropped, kneel to retrieve something better; With such a movement, they tip over and the child falls and may be injured. This is not a sign that our children are more violent than others. Our previous dining chairs have NEVER been dropped once. They really are so light and unbalanced that they tip over very easily. Even though I'm sure my physique was solid, sometimes the screw and washer accidentally slip out even with an adult sitting on it. It's like they loosen up over time every time you sit on them and just end up popping out and rolling across the floor. This can be fixed by flipping them over and regularly retightening the screws, but who has time for that? Where the hardware is down the plastic will start to fade where the plastic has been flexed/strained beyond the normal limit. See photo. That tells me these chairs are definitely not going to last long. All in all, these are very stylish and cute chairs, but just not for everyday use. I'm very glad I didn't spend $50 each, otherwise I would have been even more disappointed.
