This review is for people with moderate cases who struggle with the tab not staying and also breaking. It's happened to me too, but I've tried other things and I really needed this thinner and stickier tool to work for me so I could be healed as I did the rest of my life. But basically you want to sand the surface of the nail to remove dirt and ensure good adhesion of the glue, and then use acetone or isopropyl alcohol (e.g. 70%) to wipe away the dirt and grease. The tongue will snap if you start bending too much, so trim it off to lock in just the middle curve. I know it sounds silly because the main pain is what's digging into your flesh, but when the center starts to flatten it will pull those corners up and out of your finger. Then, when the curve straightens out, you can attach new tabs. Apply a SMALL dab of glue starting at one end. Use the tip of a metal nail file or letter opener or idk I a small flat head screwdriver (don't know what situation you are in) to press it against the nail so you don't glue your toe to toe. Attaching tabs without removing the one inside, but if you want to remove it, dampen your finger with 100% acetone (from Walmart if you have it). UPDATE: Oh my god I just added a third photo to show that the fault is already starting to flatten. Yes, it was only ONE DAY.
