
I'm having hearing problems when connected to my television via the digital output on my Samsung TV. I wanted a splitter so I could also connect another hearing aid for my wife. I tried SiYear with no result and also tried another Samsung in another room with no success. So I informed Revain and they quickly replaced the SiYear with another. When I tried this I found the same results. Now I found it odd that both units were defective after getting good reviews so I tried the second on my Vizo bedroom TV and the splitter worked! I've gone through the setup on Samsung and made sure PCM and everything else I can think of is turned on, but the splitter is still not sending any audio to my devices. I see a red light on the outlets but no signal. I have now ordered another brand hoping this will work. does anyone know what i can do Optical cable folks have told me that sometimes the connector just doesn't go deep enough to make contact. So I carefully sanded off part of the splinter arm and thank goodness I'm getting a signal now! SiYear people should connect longer or warn that it may not work on all devices, especially Samsung TVs.
