We used this when trying to protect our wildcat home from freezing temperatures last winter. It was a little pricey, but I needed this size to create an igloo-style entrance to an insulated house (with a heating pad on the floor and self-heating pads on the walls). Since there was no door to keep out the cold wind, the bales of straw served as a buffer. We had a perspex awning over it to keep the entrance dry and snow out. Also, we had it against our house, behind a bush and with our porch blocking some of the weather as well. Scruffy worked like magic and hid inside, only coming out to eat and pee before climbing back in to sleep again. I would buy them again anytime!
