We used this when trying to protect our wildcat home from freezing temperatures last winter. It was a little pricey, but I needed this size to create an igloo-style entrance to an insulated house (with a heating pad on the floor and self-heating pads on the walls). If you plan to use it for purposes other than decorative (animals, mycology, horticulture, etc.) as a last resort, I do not recommend it. The inside is full of weeds, rocks and sand of all kinds. I think they take it on bail and then flip it on the outside to make it look nice. This is probably why the packaging says that the product is not intended for animals, even though it is completely natural. There may be weeds that are harmful to animals, stones or something else.
