PERFECT for me for tools and accessories

I bought them mainly to remove gel polish from nails. I used these flat cosmetic cotton pads because I really like them for removing makeup. But they are too big to soak nails in potion caps and I ended up having to cut them into 6 pieces. Then they don't contain enough remover to really work. I've tried larger cotton balls but they were too big to fit in the clips and I had to cut or tear them apart which was a mess. These little cotton balls are perfect. They fit over my nail and contain a lot of remover. What I do is attach a dry cotton ball to my nail (working with wet cotton balls is messy), then use an eyedropper to squirt the remover in there and wait. It's very clean and simple. I still sometimes pull them in half for my little nails because I'm a curmudgeon! haha! I even keep cotton balls from an aspirin bottle for my nails! They're cheap, although for many I don't feel like tearing them apart or having to use the larger size over and over again. They are really better for me than big ones. Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting too many of the big ones by only using a portion of them. Of course, if you have a big job (I've even used paint thinner and stained with cotton swabs) you might like big or even cosmetic pads. But for small jobs where you don't need much and the Q-tip is too small, they're great. They're about a quarter tall but can be pulled out about an inch and a half square and still have no holes (although they're pretty thin when pulled that far). They are the same size and shape as the cap of a Crayola marker or a Tator Tot. (funny examples, I know!)
