Easy to use - printer is handy

t I don't have a bigger battery tester so I decided to try this one from ANCEL. The first thing that struck me upon receipt is that it is easy to work with without having read the instructions. You just need to connect it to the battery and follow the on-screen instructions. (The backlit screen is easy to read.) Instead of describing these steps, I've provided some screenshots below showing the different screens you'll encounter when checking a battery. (see photo 1.4) * Battery type: 12V model * RESULT: Replace battery * VOLTAGE: 12.38V * INT RES: 14.12mฮฉ (internal resistance, anything over 10 is not good) * SOH: 15% (State of health) * LID. Act: 198 CCA (Cold Cranking Current)*CAP Std: 500 CCA (Cold Cranking Current)*DATUM/SER. NO: 00000000 (insert date here if you want) At the end of the test you can print out the test results, an example of a tested defective battery is below. Note: The printer uses thermal paper that does not require ink. This tester can also test your vehicle's charging system by providing the charging system results while the vehicle is under load. I've included a few screenshots below and will update this review once I get a chance to use these features more often. (see last photo) Overall I think this is a very good battery tester and charge analyzer. It is very easy to use and the ability to either print out test results for personal reference or attach them to a customer's repair order is very handy. The only minor downside is that I wish it came with a case, but cases are cheap so it doesn't matter to me. I will update this review once I use this tester a little more.
