I love this steering wheel cover. Installed on Tacoma 2010. The leather was peeling off parts of the steering wheel and the black rubber underneath was peeling off my hands. Didn't want to cover the steering wheel because even the "thin ones" are so thick. I love the feel of the original steering wheel and wanted to restore it. This is definitely a product for those who like to do everything themselves and are willing to go to the trouble of essentially converting a steering wheel into a holster. I did a baseball stitch. I sewed it together without worrying too much about pulling it tight, then went back with the o-ring picks to pull the two sides together and pull the extra thread through. I rode it for a few days and had it stretched, then came back and picked it up again before tying off the end. I've had it there for several months now and it's hard to tell it even has a lid on it. All of this indicates that this is exactly what I was looking for.
