Review on 🌊 Whirlpool 8212486 Dishwasher Hose: 10-Feet Premium Nylon Braided Design for Optimal Performance by Clayton Morris

First of all I would like to thank the people who answered my question regarding the packaging of the hose they purchased. The 12ft hose I purchased arrived in a sealed plastic bag that said "Whirlpool Corporation Factory Certified Parts". The tubing was folded in half (twisted, no bend radius) and then twisted, twisted and sealed in a pouch. The kink created a soft spot in the middle of the tubing. I bought a hose to replace two 6 foot hoses that were connected in a place where a leak would cause problems and since I had no information on the stress/strain properties of the hose material I wanted it do not use . I spoke to Whirlpool about boxing up the hose and they referred me to Revain for a replacement. Luckily, the Revain replacement process is simple and effective. Another reviewer of the product described a faulty hose that was leaking here. I suppose imperfections can escape quality control, but bending a hose in half before twisting it is not an accident and defies common sense. Update: I got a new hose and it's kinked just like the first one. I did not open the bag and take the attached photo. Revain replaces him again. If the next one is kinked I'll get a refund instead of a replacement. Update: The second spare was kinked in the bag, as was the first spare. Revain refunded my money. There are currently 2 left in stock. I might try again later if the inventory topples over. Browsing through other dishwasher hoses, I came across a review of a braided stainless steel hose that a reviewer replaced because it was leaking after kinking. This reinforced my decision not to play with a kinked tube.
