I bought the console on the first day of pre-order sales. I play mainly FIFA 14. Although not, I also play free games that are provided every month to owners of a paid PSN account (which allows you to play online). At the same time, the games are quite good - Outlast, Stick it to the man, Contrast, etc. I put 4 points only because of the terrible gamepads. Everything else is great. I can’t put a small number of games in the negative, because. this is normal - the platform has just appeared, the games will come later. No one is forcing you to buy a console right now. You can wait. Although - this is debatable. For example, I bought on the first day of sales, and six months later the price went up :) In other reviews I saw several mentions that the prefix is \u200b\u200bvery noisy. I do not agree - modern powerful laptops make much more noise, also the xbox of the first revisions were much noisier.
- The prefix of the new generation is already a virtue in itself. And all the related "chips" have already been repeatedly described in various reviews: 1) With one click of a button, you can post a record of the last 15 minutes of the gameplay to FB; 2) With one click, you can post gameplay screenshots to FB; 3) The ability to stream the game by linking your PSN account with the twich service. While streaming, you can comment, chat with viewers, etc. - all this without leaving the game. 4) The ability to minimize the game without leaving it. for example, you can pause, minimize the game and chat with a friend; 5) The ability to put the console into sleep mode, in which the background download of games from PSN will continue; 6) The ability to start playing after a partial download of the game from PSN (for example, the game weighs 8 gigs, and you can start playing after downloading 1 gig); 7) Redesigned gamepads - the shape and weight have become more convenient to hold in your hand, there are such things as an accelerometer, speaker, touchpad; 8) A paid PSN account is cheaper than xbox live and you can download free indie games every month; 9) Improved graphics. Of course, not in every game you can see the fundamental differences between PS2 and PS3, but they are. Besides, it's not critical at all. A prefix is always just a prefix and will never be able to brew coffee. Therefore, from this point of view, this console was a success - it is comfortable and pleasant to play it.
- Terrible flimsy gamepads - and this is the eternal problem of the Playstation. It started, probably, since the analog sticks appeared. I've seen this since the PS2 days - the rubber coating peels off the sticks and you have to run your fingers over the rough plastic. As a result, it is very inconvenient and there is even a risk of rubbing a corn. In addition, on PS2, on PS3, and now on PS4, after some time of operation, the shifts - L2 and R2 - began to sink. At the same time, if, while playing FIFA on PS4, you accelerate to one of these buttons, then I guarantee that the button will break off completely within a month. Changed the third gamepad. Everything else is great. There is a touchpad, a speaker (adds authenticity when you play a shooter and what your partner tells you on the radio is heard from the joystick), the gamepad fits comfortably in your hand, etc. Everything is super, the button of damn shabby sticks and breaking shifts. It's terrible, because a new gamepad is very expensive. It's the 21st century, and Sony can't make normal gamepads. But the XBOX, for example, they are almost immortal.
