Review on πŸ§— Conquer New Heights with Mad Rock Haywire Climbing Shoe by Rich Rickenbaugh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable and grippy

Super grippy and comfortable for aggressive running shoes. Ideal for steep and overhanging routes. The toe pad is also very grippy on your hooks. I had some sizing issues initially but when I switched to my street shoe size I finally got it right. It took about 2 hours of climbing before it dissipated. No pain when I put my weight on tiptoe. When I first put them on and put the weight on my toes, I felt uncomfortable but not painful either. Great shoes. I would order directly from Madrock but they didn't ship to my city so I ordered it here instead. I hope this becomes Madrock's permanent shoe. I wear a size 9 for hiking and outdoor shoes and I am a size 7.5. I also have wide feet (D). I would like to point out that this is my first aggressive downhill shoe. Fits like a glove. I don't even buckle up with Velcro when I'm warming up in junior high. Climbing Level - Bouldering: Slab - V4Vert and Overhang - V3
