These just arrived, so I can't speak to durability. They fit our curved steps perfectly. The top is two layers, so I'm hoping for good wear. This does make it just a little more difficult to put the steps up, as the added thickness makes it harder to fold the bottom step in under the second step. That's not a problem, just different from the old, worn cover that required no effort to flip it up and under.Over all, I think I am going to be happy with these.
