Review on πŸ‘– Heavy Brown Leather Belt for Men by Mark Callaham

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A REAL MEN'S BELT for belts

This may sound like mundane male chauvinism – but I don't know how else to put it. A heavy, thick, massive, beautifully crafted, very wide men's belt made of old-fashioned, no-frills, unembossed, oiled armor leather, without frivolous embossing, folds or decorations, has something wonderfully masculine about it. . . something essential to hang your tool bag (or holster if you prefer). Or even just for a nice, severe, masculine look on more elegant occasions. But they're getting harder and harder to find. It's like trying to find wheels for a buggy. Luckily, this company is one of the very few (perhaps the only one?) that has kept the great tradition of the old-fashioned leather belts alive. bless her! Reminds me nostalgically of the beautiful, practical harness I have been working with for many years. I've ordered three in the last few years. They are beautifully made. Just a small complaint. The third one I ordered had one of the clasps to hold the buckle, which was so tight it was very difficult to undo. But I hope it was a one-off accident that won't happen again.

Pros
  • Useful for more than its intended purpose
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
