Good replacement for Clorox toilet pen

I am writing this review as someone who has been using a similar Clorox product (toilet pen with disposable cleaning pads) for several years. I'm always looking for greener cleaning options that are still hygienic and hygienic, which is why I was intrigued by this Tushy stick that comes with disposable biodegradable coconut fiber cleaning pads. "If it's as good as the Clorox wand, I'll change it," I thought. and hold the coconut fiber cleaning pad. Overall, this wand and brush head setup works very well, with the exception of two main issues. If you immediately push the cleaning pad up too hard with the stick, the pins will go all the way through the pad to the other side. If I hadn't checked the underside of the pad and seen that I would have scratched my toilet because again those handles are metal. Luckily I saw the problem, let go of the prongs and pressed down on the cleaning pad again (squeezed it more gently with the wand). Everything was fine then; I could no longer see my hands through the cleaning pad. Second, the sticker on the white plastic base doesn't peel off cleanly. I understand Tushy would like the cleaning pads to be sealed, but I'm not sure why they wouldn't opt for a more convenient adhesive that comes off completely all at once. It was annoying to spend several minutes carefully scraping off the remnants of the sticker. 😒Now to the good stuff! The scrub pads work very well in terms of gentle abrasion and stain removal, as do the Clorox pads. They swell a little once you start rubbing them. However, unlike Clorox cleaning pads, Tushy does NOT have a center-baked cleaner, so you have to buy your own toilet cleaner. (I don't see that as a big deal since we all have our favorite cleaners.) The wand itself is made out of ABS (a hard, opaque plastic) and has a bamboo handle, giving it a spa-like feel and blending in well with others Bamboo items in our main bathroom. It looks stylish and unobtrusive behind the toilet. I'm a bit concerned about metal pins rusting over time - it's the end that submerges in water, after all - and I'll update my review if I notice rust. I'm also hoping Tushy offers replacement scrubber heads (I couldn't find any at the time of this review). Overall I think this is a great option if you're looking to switch from Clorox disposable toilet scrubbers to something more eco-friendly. . Just make sure those metal pins don't protrude through the trim so you don't scratch the toilet. **Update, three months later** This is a great product. I use it weekly and have not seen any rust on my teeth. However, today I cleaned the toilet and the coconut fiber lining came off immediately when I cleaned the underside of the toilet. I didn't even scrub very hard. Good thing these pads are biodegradable because hooray they suddenly disappeared and there was no way to return them, they went into an about-face! I hope Tushy brings back the replacement pads because I need another pack. This wand is useless if the pads can't be found!
