, I am using this to power two Music Audio Spectrum Towers on my computer that do not require data transfer. This rating is based solely on the product's ability to power two devices from a single USB port. You should check other reviews if you plan to use this for devices that require data transfer as I don't use this for that purpose and haven't tried it for anything else. Both of my music LED towers have a plug-in USB connection and this allows me to power both towers from a single USB connection. The cable is thick, durable, and the connectors are just right. Don't hang around where things might fall out, and don't sit too tight so you don't damage them. tips. Always do your research when using USB cables or hubs. You need to make sure the USB port you plug them into is big enough to power your devices. USB 1 and 2 typically supply 500mAh, USB 3 typically up to 900mAh and USB 3/1 can supply up to 3000mAh or 3 amps. The powered USB hubs you find tend to offer a decent amount of power per port. Typical USB hard drives require at least 1000mAh to boot up and a little less to run, and smaller devices and adapter drives tend to be in excess of 500mAh. (mice etc.) This product works great for me and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use two USB powered devices from a single port.
