My 4 year old grandson loves his kart! Drives well, especially on asphalt. He's learning to pedal and steer as he didn't have a tricycle, but everything is going well. It helps that he's tall for his age. You can adjust the drive chain and maybe wait a bit from time to time. We've only been using it for a few days so I can't comment on its durability yet, but I'm hoping it will last at least a few years. I don't know why it doesn't, it's pretty easy with nuts and bolts. Runs great, brakes work great. The instructions were pretty good, but the clutch cap, which is vital to the pedals that power the bike, should be more clearly identified on the parts picture and indicate what it is. I'm a little mechanical but could use more help on what it was and where to go. I want to say a big thank you to Mariangel from Customer Service! She was great in her response and helped solve my problem before Christmas by leaving a clutch cover overnight which I thought I didn't have (I didn't know I had because I put it on another one wheel mounted, did not understand what it is). So the happy ending of what I feared turns into a toy nightmare. I would sum up this review by saying karting is a good ride from a good company with great customer service!
