VERY DISAPPOINTED in these pet nail clippers. If we could give less than 1/2 a star, we would!The product description says "for Large or Medium Dogs." But these clippers are sized appropriately for a toy breed, definitely NOT for a large breed like our 100lb Labrador Retriever's nails. To get the clipper blades around one of his nails, we had to force the blades open as wide as they can go.The product description also says "Designed and stress tested for thousands of smooth, quick, and sharp cuts." We attempted to cut one nail. The blade did NOT cut through the nail smoothly, and instead it broke off the tip of the nail.The only good part of this product is the "free" nail file. We have no idea if or how long it will last, but if it does, it's a nice strong file. But we didn't need a nail file.we needed a good pair of large strong nail clippers. We will look for nail clippers from other manufacturers and distributors, and we advise anyone reading this review to do the same.
