The fabric seems to hold up well with this method, no complaints yet.Beyond being appealing to my husband, it is very comfortable to sleep in and the lace is not scratchy in any way.The fabric has some elasticity so if you think you may be heavier in one section and not another, it would likely stretch to fit your unique body type.
