It costs money, especially for beginners, it takes some time to get comfortable, but once you've done that, you can do anything. But when I first ordered this the monomer was poured into the bag, it was closed because someone didn't put the cap on properly so when I opened my package I only had half a bottle. I contacted Amazon and had the entire order replaced which was nice, this time the monomer was fine but the top and bottom layers of nail polish weren't sealed at all so it spilled all over the place. The product description states that nothing in the box needs curing at all, but the nail polish they give you needs to be cured. Acrylic powder - no, but varnish - yes. But even with the issues I had, it's worth the money if you want to dig into it and learn how without spending a ton of money on everything you need. It's very easy to use, but DO IT IN A WELL VENTILATED SPACE. THIS IS A GREAT SMELL I made my living room smell like a nail salon.
