I have had this headband for about two weeks since writing this review. I like the band and it helps to keep the ears warm as long as the temperature isn't too cold and the wind isn't too strong. Otherwise, I prefer warmer and more reliable headphones. The bracelet looks high quality and is made in China. It contains 94% polyester and 6% elastane. This allows the band to be pulled over the head and held in place by the tension of the fabric. There's no elastic that makes it look too loose, like a pair of old underwear. A few tips: the part of the band that goes across the forehead is too wide. It measures 2 3/4 inches. When the top of the tape is in my hairline, the bottom covers my eyebrows and obstructs my vision. When I lift the bandage to reveal my vision, my hair pulls up and looks like a porcupine. A good inch could be clipped from this part of the headband without affecting performance. Another suggestion is to include a small instruction card with each product showing the orientation of the strap when wearing it correctly. (I know it's not rocket science, but I wore it inside out all day). But more importantly I want to know if it can be washed and dried because it already loses its shape a bit and washing/drying can straighten it up again.
