A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

We have polycystic kidney disease, we switched to renal. Before that, they bought Monge Renal, the cat ate it with pleasure, but it is not in stores, only via the Internet, they decided to switch to farmina. But we didn't get Farmin's food. The cat does not eat it well, and the stool became semi-liquid. She has been eating food for a month now, but the stool has not returned to normal. So it's not our food.

    Cons
    • Didn't fit

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

I cant believe I paid for it, the quality is disgusting.

It is not good to deceive, you see that the food is therapeutic, so the animal only needs it! Shame on you to deceive pensioners, so expensive Renal feed, and you are still deceiving and sending the wrong thing! What to feed the animals, if you were counting on this delivery, you can’t get it in Renal pet stores now! Mayhem! Got pros: The seller is a liar! I ordered therapeutic food, they brought an inexpensive regular one! Delivery was paid, the goods were tightly wrapped in black film, they…

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

VetLife Renal has requested a replacement for the Royal Canin Select (cushion) which has disappeared from sale. My cat simply does not eat other Renal Royal foods. We took it on the advice of the girls in the veterinary pharmacy, although I thought about buying Hills. while satisfied - eats, and this is the most important thing. And I'm also concerned about availability.

    Pros
    • the cat easily switched from RK to this food, so far everything is going quite well, to her. But showing off just like with RK
    Cons
    • I can’t say yet we eat for about a month

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

In terms of the size of the granules, the smell (to my human sight and smell) is very similar to the dry Royal Canin Renal regular (not Selekt and not Special). And both of these foods my animals do not eat categorically. Perhaps the food is good, but, unfortunately, not for my "queens". I can’t recommend it, although, in fact, there are no claims either to the feed or to the manufacturer. It's just that my cats prefer a different food, as it turns out.

    Cons
    • Inconvenient packaging, no "lock". Cats don't eat well even when given no alternatives.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

Its pros: Good food for cats with kidney disease. Optimal content of protein and phosphorus, omega acids. And most importantly, the cat likes it, although her appetite, as often happens in cats with CKD, is not very good. By the way, Royal does not eat food at all. But I always take only in packs of 400 grams, otherwise in large bags it still fizzles out over time, and it becomes no longer so attractive for my picky. With its cons: Somehow I came across a package with rancid food, apparently th

A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.

I would give this food a solid 4. My very old cat used this food with appetite for a very long time, but then abruptly refused to eat it. Either tired, or the quality of the feed has deteriorated, it's hard to say what exactly. This food seemed to me the fattest and wettest of all the tried Renal foods from various companies (Brit, Monge, Farmina, Advance, Animonda, Hill's, Royal Canin, PURINA Pro Plan). The photo shows the type and size of Renal feed pellets from Brit, Monge, Farmina…

    Pros
    • Not the worst composition from the Renal line of feeds. Packing with Zip-Lock lock. Average granule size. Made in Italy or Serbia.
    Cons
    • The composition contains unwanted components. Sometimes there are packages with poor quality Zip-Lock, which negatively affects the storage of feed. Slightly pungent smell.

Second-rate product, won't buy it again.

For a year the cat ate Renal food from Farmina until the last two packs were bought. Expiration dates are ok. And that is all. The food became inedible and unattractive. Why the plant in Serbia spoiled the usual composition of the feed is not clear.

    Pros
    • Nothing this time
    Cons
    • The composition has changed not for the better, the food began to smell like fish, not chicken, the granules are overdried. The cat refused to eat food from the last two packs.

A worthless product, definitely not worth your money!

She eats both dry and wet food from this company, she noticed that the old packaging (bought back in 2022) is eaten with appetite and does not cause intestinal upset, and canned food and dry food bought about 2 weeks ago are significantly different in consistency ( canned food) and smell, it’s a pity the quality has deteriorated, you will have to give up this food.

    Pros
    • Initially, the food was good, but apparently the composition has changed and the quality has become terrible
    Cons
    • The reaction of the cat to food from the digestive tract, until 2022. there was no such thing

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

The cat has problems with the gastrointestinal tract, he feels good only on a gastro-diet, and according to analyzes, his kidneys are rather weak. To improve the condition of The doctor recommended switching to Renal. Tried Renal from RC - loose stools started. They advised Farmin, introduced the food gradually, starting with 10g/day, mixing with the old one. Everything is fine (tt) the cat has been eating for 2 weeks now, there are no problems with the gastrointestinal tract.

    Pros
    • The cat eats, a good composition for the vet. diets

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

With its pros: The cat has kidney problems. It took a long time to pick up food, as the cat is picky about food. The cat liked Farmina's food, she has been eating it for more than a year. Has cons: Sometimes there are problems with the stool. But maybe it has nothing to do with food.

A good product, more pros than cons.

Since July, the cats have been transferred to dry food marked Renal. I gave food of another brand, now I'm giving this one for the second month. Unfortunately, they do not eat it very willingly. One cat recently started vomiting and diarrhea, transferred him to another food. Creatine levels dropped from 220 to 200 in one cat in five months, and from 320 to 250 in another, which is encouraging.

    Pros
    • Adequate price
    Cons
    • Get used to it quickly

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Got pros: Excellent composition, good smell, the cat ate with pleasure and her appetite instantly returned, in a crisis it was possible to buy. Cons: High price, no matter what. The cat had diarrhea, had to be changed.

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Satisfactory product quality, good price.

the food bought in amazon was like moist, soft. after the expiration of time, it has not dried out and in the open package it is still soft and moist. and from Magizoo it was like regular dry food. But the humidity did not affect the quality, the cat eats well Some pros: Good food. My cat doesn't eat any food. Especially since she has problems with the kidneys, not everyone is suitable. This one fits and that's a plus. Different cons: It is necessary to cut the package, and in the place of the…

We were forced to switch to this food from "Hills K / D + Moybility" (it disappeared due to the embargo of food from the Netherlands, of the currently presented on the market forage-veterinary diets for cats with renal insufficiency, Farmina Renal has one of the best composition. To Unfortunately, the cat did not like the food very much, I have to supplement it with canned food.

    Pros
    • Granule size, lockable packaging for 400 grams only. Price.
    Cons
    • It oxidizes in a day in a bowl, starts to smell like fish. The cat eats this food poorly.
