After unscrewing the lag screw on my last holder for the third time, I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Instead of tightening a flat head screw on a round post, it uses jaws that wrap around the post. It holds my 4th gen iPad very securely. It doesn't sag or slip. I use an arrow that is slightly smaller in diameter than a regular stand and it doesn't matter, it fits perfectly. Because I'm using an arrow, I can position the tablet in any direction for visibility. It even comes with a smartphone holder in case you use that instead. I'm very pleasantly surprised and how well this thing works. If you're using a tablet like mine that's attached to a mic stand, then this thing is a must-have. I recommend this product.
