Review on 🚦 Waterproof LED Cubes, OFFROADTOWN 3" SAE Fog Lights Work Light for Truck Motorcycle ATV UTV Boat - Set of 2 LED Pods for Off-Road Driving by Kyle Earley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

This is why some people get water in their headlights!

First of all, these bulbs cost around $100 at all Revain dealers who are likely to buy them from the same factory in China. The product and photos from Swatow and Teochew-LED are identical. I mention this because a lot of the reviews from all these resellers talk about water or condensation getting behind the lens, which shouldn't happen with an IP-67 rated product. I was concerned about this when I ordered mine, so as soon as I unboxed it I inspected my seals. Lo and behold, one didn't come with silicone sealant from the factory. I was able to fit a 0.127mm feeler gauge between the case and the outer mount. You can see the difference between the bottom sealed light and the top unsealed light in my photo. The factory in China clearly has quality control issues as many of them had water leaks. If it was a $30 set I would seal it myself. But for $100 I get mine back, just bite the bullet and go with Ridgid. Judging by all the reviews, there is a chance that this defect will happen to me again. So be careful and use the probe or take a closer look when you arrive. Your IP-67 rating can be revoked, just like mine.
