Needs a lot of storage space.

These boards take up a lot of space in the trunk. If you have a small car or SUV. I recommend a foldable or flexible mat. I'm not sure how well they will hold the ice. I'm talking about putting the bolts in four holes so they can't get a better grip on the ice. These are long boards and length can get in the way in some conditions like uneven surfaces and brush. If you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, you'll be glad you bought them. It's best to stay away from the wilds if you don't have them.
