This worked great for my project. The latex was applied to my clay sculpture every hour. I put a fan and light over it to speed up drying. I applied 13 coats and let it sit for about 32 hours. It immediately detached from the sculpture and looked amazing. I placed it in a bowl of flour for support and filled it with the resin mix and in 15 minutes I had a perfect plastic replica of my sculpture. The latex mold lasted 3 more casts before cracking and rendering it unusable. The sculpture was very detailed and the mold worked perfectly. It takes time and patience, but it works. I'm new to this stuff and was very skeptical, nothing more.
