Great boots for quality/personal safety/price. This is the first time I've ordered Due North Light Industrial snow/ice cleats as I usually wear their all-purpose industrial cleats all winter (previous review). I waited until the first hard frost to try them out on lightly icy glazed concrete under a 2 inch layer of snow to clear the long sidewalks/staircases of several buildings. I wore them over my trainers and then over my winter boots. slip and they didn't fall off when twisted. Love the tungsten carbide lugs instead of steel lugs! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical with 4 studs on the ball of the shoe and only 2 studs on the heel (instead of 4 as on their All Purpose Industrial). The large ones slipped easily over my size 8.5 women's trainers and I had to pull a little to get them onto my size 9 snow boots and as I've found with other Due North cleats, the use gets /wearing rubber make it easier and more honest. a little twitch to turn them on and off initially, not a problem for me compared to the security they offer. They are excellent for walking on ice/snow. Another great boot - I recommend the Due North ice boots for quality/personal safety/price.
