Review on Cake Drums Round 10 Inches - (White by Girish Underwood

These barrels are strong enough to hold tall cakes (I put up to 3 pounds of finished cake in them) and I reckon they can hold a few more pounds. The edges are nice and the overall look of the cake is enhanced. However, the drum is actually in 2 parts - the top cake board that touches the cake was separately glued to the ore-wrapped drum and the seam is therefore not clean. It's not that easy to see when the cake is placed on top, but some of the glue keeps making crinoline noises when touched, which worries me that one day the glue will just come loose and cause a disaster. I hope that doesn't happen. That issue aside, this is a great set for the price.
