I use a GH5 with a battery grip. Note that I "upgraded" my rig with a longer stem to accommodate a larger camera - this will not work with the GH5/battery grip in the stock configuration. The beauty of this setup is that it's so "minimal" that you have the flexibility to expand without breaking the bank. Other installations require a more custom fit. I personally find the configuration solid enough that I trust my camera in this setup. I'm also more of a mechanical person and know how to put a drop of Loctite in the right places to keep certain bolts from loosening. Adding small components as needed. Highly recommended for budget conscious filmmakers looking to customize their cameras.
