Great headphones for the price!

I ordered them and was told I would receive them next Friday, but I received them two days later which is always a pleasant surprise. The packaging was crumpled and the inner plastic wrap felt a bit cheap; One of the headphones also fell off. However, I could not find any damage. The device came partially charged and I only had to charge it for 45 minutes to fully charge the battery. They came together quickly and easily. It took my phone a few seconds to find the headphones, but once it did the connection was stable and the connection was confirmed with a recorded female voice saying "connected". There is no built in volume control on the headphones so I had to manipulate it with my phone which is not a problem for me. I've had other headphones with on-ear controls and they only worked intermittently, if at all, and I'm too old to remember how to use the blind controls from one headphone to the next. However, with the amazingly intuitive touch sensors on the back of each earcup, you can pause a track, go to the next, previous, and pause. Double tap on any earbud to stop the track, double tap on any earbud to resume, triple tap on the right earbud to go forward, and triple tap on the left earbud to go backward. If you're using headphones to make calls, just double-tap any of the earbuds to answer the call (hear the ringtone once in your ear), and double-tap any to hang up. As soon as you get up, the headphones return to the music you were listening to. And if you press and hold any sensor once, you'll invoke Siri or whatever you're using. As for the sound, I was pleasantly surprised. Considering the price of these headphones, I wasn't expecting the depth of sound I received. The mids were a bit harsh, especially when connected to my iPhone and playing heavy metal or Rick James. But when connected to an Apple TV, the sound was fantastic. The voices on the calls sounded like they were coming out of a tunnel (the person on the other side of the line said my voice sounded the same), but for the price I can live with that! I used the in-ear headphones for five hours before a recorded female voice prompted me to charge. I should add though that when I dropped the headphones into the charging case the sound returned to the TV speakers but then when there was enough charge again the TV sound switched back to the headphones despite them still in the case (it took me a few minutes to understand why the TV went silent). If it's noise cancellation, I couldn't tell. I could hear every sound beyond the sound envelope that the volume allowed. If there is a way to enable audio cancellation, I couldn't find how. In fact, I had to figure out how to do everything by squinting at the drawings in the owner's manual, which didn't have instructions in English. Since I can't read Chinese, French, German, or Spanish, I may have missed a few features completely. I searched the internet for instructions in English but after a few hours I couldn't find them. In summary, these are good looking (love the bare transparent earbuds), responsive, comfortable earbuds at a very good price. There were some issues, but I don't think most will notice.
