I was very skeptical about this light but when I turned it on in our cabin after dark I believed it. Some lights are too focused and some too diffuse in their light distribution, but we hung it on a beam above the dining table and it lit up the room so well we could play, eat and see clearly. Our cabin is small, 10 x 20, so if you have a large cabin you may need more than one. This lasted for several hours and then got darker after about 4 hours. probably around 40% (probably) but by then we were ready to go to bed. We recommend this solar light and will probably get a few more.
