I had my previous peeler for over 10 years - and I'm a man of habit . Nobody else who ever came to my house and used my vegetable peeler liked it, but I got used to it. You can clean the skin without much resistance, which is perfect for me. I'm right-handed and prefer to climb towards me, while my husband (and most others) prefer to climb further away from them. The blade can be removed and rotated as needed for your kitchen task. The grip is comfortable, I think it is equally suitable for right-handed and left-handed people. I am very impressed and happy to have this new tool in my kitchen!
