I bought a medium size for my Jack Russell because it has a small chest and the harness part fits well. The bags are a bit big so they get stuck in between the overturned trucks she usually walks through. I had to balance the load perfectly or the bags would slide sideways. I liked the handle on top and it was secure enough that I could pick it up and get over things. It's easy to just undo the pockets at rest and put them back on with ease. The convenience of having food, a bowl and treats with you was worth it. would recommend.
