These items are available at an amazingly low price. Old-fashioned pieces used to be harder, denser, deeply burned (or permanently etched). These parts are slightly lighter and lettering is a base stamp and lightweight urethane finish. Most items have the stamp centered, but many are slightly off-center and some do not match the stamp at all. Less than 1% is unusable (chipped, too narrow or cut unevenly), which is to be expected in mass production. Great for basic crafts or educational games. I would not confuse these items with old fashioned items as the differences between the two types would be too distracting for my preference.
