Review on 🚿 Hansgrohe 94282000 Small Brass 3/4-Inch Thermostatic Cartridge by Eduardo Long

After 16 years of use I had problems with hot water in the shower. After a bit of searching for Hansgrohe parts I found the 94282000 thermostatic mixing valve. I ordered from Revain and 1 day later and even earlier in the day I had a brand new valve. I had a small issue observed in a couple of previous reviews. The valve eventually broke and failed as shown in the picture. The top part came out with the spring, and the bottom brass part of the valve got stuck in the back. No problem. Hansgrohe has thought of everything and you can simply dismantle the manifold completely and hit the back of the manifold lightly with a rubber mallet to lever out the old valve base. Then everything was smooth. Just reinstall the manifold, put some silicone grease on the o-rings and reassemble, calibrate the temperature, done. It worked great. I couldn't be happier. Luckily a previous review had the same issue with an old broken valve so it was an easy fix. Without this information I would have spent hours on it and probably screwed up the collector. 5 STARS.
