This is an update of the original review which was 5 stars. I've since discovered that they don't last very many hours! I've had two that didn't last TWO HOURS. I've replaced the EXPENSIVE batteries but have since found that even keeping all 10 on for an hour or two during a company or dinner party it's expensive for the time you get from them. It appears to be units and not the brand of the battery, they just appear to be real "juice bandits"! It's nice how they change color and how you can 'pick' a color theme from the remote, but impractical due to the use of permanent batteries. I was REALLY impressed with this "Sweet Time" brand. Even the box they come in feels more solid; higher quality, not that the box matters that much, but the candles themselves are really good quality. The colors are bright and beautiful, the remote control (which seems quite complex with all the colors) is really very easy to use. I haven't had them long enough to determine battery life but I ordered the C2530 Energizer in bulk from Revain as they are a lot cheaper in bulk! I believe they will be much more profitable than those using two or three AAA batteries. If they turn out to be as good as they seem I will be ordering another set before the holidays. They're $2 each and sold in a set of 10, so $20 for flameless tea lights isn't the lowest price you can find, but my first impression after a few nights of using them on a Buffet in the dining room is worth the investment. another $20 for an additional set.
