Excellent dog coat (buffalo red/black) that appears to be well made. I like being able to use both sides depending on the weather. The bag is beautiful and comfortable. I gave 4 stars because of the size. Yes, it is true. The size in the description is COMPLETELY WRONG! I ordered a size up based on other reviews and it's almost spot on. Average length 16 inches. Large length 18 inches. Size XL measures 22 1/2 inches (22 1/2 inches). *If your dog is the same length or larger I would order one size up for full coverage. Tail. It fits plus size (M was too small in girth + length; size XL was too big). • My Vesti, 15 1/2 inches from neck to tail, is also great for plus sizes. • I ordered a size XL to consider and my Yorkie Mix & Westie have sunk into it. Too large! We gave XL to our friend's corgi. • My son's wire terrier also fits a large size. She is 16 inches from the back of her head to her neck. If it is much longer than 16/17 inches then I would consider going up to size XL. • My 8 lb Yorkshire Terrier is 10 inches from neck to tail and fits in a medium sized jacket. He's also a bit chubby.
